Legal
Privacy. The plain version.
We collect very little, we say exactly what we do with it, and you can have it deleted by sending one email. This page is the long form of that sentence.
Last updated 27 August 2026
The short version. If you only read the savings check page, we log an anonymous visit. If you enter your email to run the calculator, we create a contact record with what you typed and what the calculator worked out, and we may email you about it once. We do not sell anything to anyone, we do not buy lists, and we do not run advertising trackers. Email sietse@corbenic.ai and we will delete your record within 30 days, no questions asked.
Who is responsible for your data
Corbenic AI, Inc. is the data controller for everything described on this page.
| Entity | Corbenic AI, Inc., a Delaware C-Corporation incorporated on 4 May 2026 |
|---|---|
| Registered office | Ernest Claesstraat 11, 8020 Oostkamp, Belgium |
| US tax ID (EIN) | 30-1492966 |
| Privacy contact | sietse@corbenic.ai |
We are established in Belgium and process personal data of visitors in the European Economic Area, so the GDPR applies to everything below. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer; we are not required to, and at our size the privacy contact above reaches the person who actually decides these things.
What we collect, and on what legal basis
Three things, and nothing else.
| What | Why | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Anonymous visit data — pages viewed, referring site, approximate region, device and browser type | To know which pages are read and which are ignored | Consent for the cookies that carry it (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and the Belgian ePrivacy rules) |
| Savings calculator entries — work email, company name, optionally your first name, plus the answers you give the calculator | To return a result sized to your fleet, and to follow up if the result is worth a conversation | Our legitimate interest in business-to-business marketing (Art. 6(1)(f)), and steps taken at your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) |
| Anything you send us — email, a meeting booking, a reply | To answer you | Steps taken at your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)), or our legitimate interest in replying (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
We do not collect special category data, we do not profile you in any way that produces a legal or similarly significant effect, and no decision about you is made by automated means alone.
The savings calculator, in detail
The calculator is the only place on this site that asks you for anything, so it deserves to be spelled out rather than summarised.
Before it unlocks
You are asked for a work email and a company name, and optionally a first name. Free and disposable email domains are rejected in your browser before anything is sent — that check happens locally and no rejected address reaches us.
The known-account check
When you submit the form, your email address, company name and email domain are sent to our own server so we can check whether you are already a contact or a known company, and greet you accordingly. That check returns only whether a match exists and the company display name. It never reveals anything else from our records to your browser, and if it fails or takes longer than 2.5 seconds you are simply treated as a new visitor.
What is stored
A contact record is created or updated in our CRM containing your email, company, first name if you gave one, and the calculator result: the number and type of GPUs, the cloud provider, your utilisation figure, the monthly spend you entered, the workload type, the calculated saving, and the verdict. This is written as you go rather than only at the end, so if you abandon the calculator halfway we still hold what you had entered up to that point.
What we do with it
We may email you once about your result. If you do not reply, we do not chase you. Every email we send carries a working unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing is honoured immediately and permanently.
If you would rather see the numbers without giving us anything, the formula is published on the page itself and on our pricing page — the rate card behind it is public.
Cookies and analytics
We use HubSpot analytics to count visits. It sets the following cookies in your browser:
| Cookie | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
__hstc | Identifies a returning visitor across sessions | 6 months |
hubspotutk | Links a form submission to a visit history | 6 months |
__hssc | Tracks the current session | 30 minutes |
__hssrc | Detects whether the browser was restarted | Session |
These are analytics cookies. They are not used for advertising, we run no advertising pixels, and we do not share what they collect with ad networks. You can refuse or delete them through your browser settings at any time; the site works normally without them, and the savings calculator does not depend on them.
We also load our typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser contacts Google to fetch the font files, which discloses your IP address to Google in the process. No cookie is set by that request.
Who else sees it
Our processors, and nobody else. We do not sell personal data, we do not rent it, and we do not disclose it for anyone else’s marketing.
| Processor | What for | Where |
|---|---|---|
| HubSpot, Inc. | Website hosting, CRM, analytics, email | Our portal is hosted in the European Union |
| Google LLC | Web font delivery only | United States |
We will also disclose data where a law or a valid order from a court or regulator requires it. If that ever happens and we are permitted to tell you, we will.
Where your data lives, and transfers out of the EU
Our HubSpot portal is hosted in the European Union, so your contact record and the calculator results stay in the EU at rest.
Corbenic AI, Inc. is a Delaware corporation, and our processors are US companies, so some data is accessible from the United States for support and administration. Those transfers rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, which are part of our agreements with those processors. You can ask us for a copy of the relevant terms.
How long we keep it
| Data | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Calculator leads and prospect contacts | 24 months after your last interaction with us, then deleted |
| Analytics cookie data | The cookie lifetimes listed above; aggregate reporting is retained for 26 months |
| Email correspondence | 24 months, unless it forms part of a contract |
| Customer records | The term of the agreement, then as long as accounting and tax law requires — seven years under Belgian law |
| Unsubscribe records | Indefinitely, because forgetting them would let us email you again |
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access — get a copy of what we hold about you.
- Rectification — have anything wrong corrected.
- Erasure — have it deleted.
- Restriction — have us hold it but stop using it while a dispute is resolved.
- Portability — receive it in a machine-readable format, or have it sent to someone else.
- Objection — object to processing based on our legitimate interest, including profiling. If you object to direct marketing, we stop. There is no balancing test on that one.
- Withdraw consent — where we rely on consent, withdraw it at any time, without affecting what was lawful before you did.
Email sietse@corbenic.ai. We answer within one month, usually within one business day. There is no charge. We may ask you to confirm you control the email address in question, which is the only identity check we do.
If you are in California, you have comparable rights under the CCPA as amended, including the right to know, to delete, to correct, and to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined, so there is nothing to opt out of, and we will never discriminate against you for exercising a right. Use the same email address.
If we get it wrong
Tell us first — sietse@corbenic.ai — and we will fix it.
You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority regardless of whether you contact us. Ours is the Belgian Data Protection Authority:
Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données
Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, Belgium
contact@apd-gba.be
www.dataprotectionauthority.be
If you live in another EEA country you may complain to your own national authority instead.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle your data, we change this page and move the date at the top. If the change is significant and we hold your email address, we will tell you directly rather than relying on you to notice.
Questions about any of this? Email sietse@corbenic.ai. A person reads it, and you get an answer within one business day, CET.
